Il nuovo videogioco di Harmonix, MTV ed Electronic Arts si prepara al debutto con interessanti novità "musicali"

Rock Band, il nuovo videogioco di Electronic Arts che permetterà di creare una "band virtuale" sulle console di nuova generazione di Sony e Microsoft, si appresta a rivoluzionare definitivamente il mondo dei contenuti scaricabili attraverso PlayStation Network o Xbox Live.
Secondo quanto dichiarato da Alex Rigopulos, CEO di Harmonix, la software house prevede di rilasciare settimanalmente nuove tracce audio scaricabili e la possibilità di scaricare singoli brani, compilation o addirittura interi album dei vostri artisti preferiti.
L'obiettivo, secondo Rigopulos, è quello di permettere ai videogiocatori di creare la propria tracklist preferita attraverso microtransazioni e di offrire quindi un'espandibilità costante del prodotto, che potrebbe così avere una vita pressochè eterna.
Ricordiamo che Rock Band è atteso per il prossimo autunno su Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3, supporterà la chitarra di Guitar Hero II sulla console di Microsoft e tra gli accessori prevede la possibilità di acquistare una chitarra (da usare anche come basso), una batteria e un microfono.
